
Dr. Dodson is a Board Certified Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. He grew up in North Platte, Nebraska and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before continuing his education and obtaining a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. After completion of medical school, he completed residency training in Illinois, with specialized training at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Danville and Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign-Urbana, where he studied under many skilled physicians and surgeons.
He has specialized training to treat all types of foot and ankle medical and surgical conditions, including management of arthritic conditions of the foot and ankle, correction of bunion and hammertoes, treatment of painful flat feet or high arch foot types, foot and ankle fracture repair, and diabetic foot care and wound care, including limb salvage. Dr. Dodson is excited to be back in his home state of Nebraska following residency completion, as his family is still located in the state. He enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, boating, and grilling, and is looking forward to cheering on Husker athletics for many seasons to come.
