Tanner is a native of Beatrice, NE and graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan in 2017. While at Nebraska Wesleyan Tanner participated in track and field where and ran the 400 meter, 800 meter and 4x400 relay events. He graduated from The University of Nebraska Medical Center with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2020. Following graduation, he completed a one-year residency in Orthopaedics in Sioux Falls, SD and is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association. He has also taken continuing education courses in the management of injured runners.
In his free time, he enjoys running, biking, weight lifting, golfing, and walking his goldendoodle Beau. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys all things Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and Kansas State Wildcats!
